2011 Beach Volleyball Information

Program Fee: $250

Fee includes: “Wolf Pack Beach” tank top and “Wolf Pack Beach” string bag…as well as coaching (early May-end of July) and equipment.

**Fee does NOT include tournament entry fees.  You can play in as many or few tournaments as you choose.  Tournaments generally cost $25-$35 per player per event.  Last season, the average team played in 4 tournaments over the summer.

Week day practices will be held at HOWARD PARK in Tarpon Springs and an optional CLEARWATER BEACH practice will be offered every weekend (when we don’t have a tournament).

When choosing a partner, there are 2 major issues to consider:

1.  Make sure that your summer vacation schedules are comparable so that you are not paired with someone who plans to be gone for long periods of time or who won’t be available for tournaments that you want to attend.

2.  Age divisions are different in Beach Volleyball.  They have U12, U14, U16 and U18. If a U14 girl partners with a U15 girl…they will have to play U16 since the U15 girl can’t play down.  I strongly suggest that girls find players their own age to play with so they will be competitive in the tournaments.
