West Pasco Wolf Pack Volleyball

An idea was presented to me by a parent who probably wants to remain nameless (thanks Joe Lane!!!).  The idea was for a Beach Fundraiser that would pair a volleyball player with someone in their family to play 2-on-2 beach volleyball.  I think it’s a great idea so we’re gonna do it.  It will take place on Saturday, August 7th from 9am-Noon at Clearwater Beach.

The newest USAV Rankings are posted.  These rankings measure all club teams in Florida at each specific age level.  Being our first year, I am VERY proud of where we stand with only one tournament remaining.  Next year, we will break the Top 20…maybe Top 10!!! You should be very proud of your daughters.  Here are the current rankings:

WOLF PACK ON THE BEACH!!!!

THERE WILL BE AN INFORMATIONAL PARENT MEETING ON MONDAY, APRIL 12TH AT 8PM IN THE SEVEN SPRINGS MIDDLE SCHOOL GYM FOR ANYONE INTERESTED IN BEACH VOLLEYBALL THIS SUMMER.  THE WOLF PACK WILL CONTINUE THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER BEACH SEASON. CHECK OUT THE WEBSITE FOR MORE INFORMATION.

THE MEETING WILL COVER BEACH REQUIREMENTS, FEES, PRACTICE/TOURNAMENT SCHEDULES AND OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS.  BEACH VOLLEYBALL IS AN AWESOME WAY FOR YOUR DAUGHTER TO STAY IN SHAPE AND BE SHARP FOR THE UPCOMING MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL SEASON.

I’ve uploaded a new version of the Corporate Sponsorship Letter to the Become a Sponsor page. To keep costs down and to keep hair on my head, I ask you to please help in getting sponsors. We will get a second (short-sleeved) warm-up shirt in March or April with these sponsors on the back.

WOW!!

With the help of all the girls and the generosity of their families and friends, our car wash fundraiser was a great success.  Tom who runs WOW Express told us that he had never seen such an organized group and he also said that we set a record for money raised.  Not bad for our first time (and he’s had groups doing this for several years at his location).  Thanks again to everyone for their help.

OUR TOTAL MONEY RAISED WAS  $1,023

($775 in pre-sale tickets and we made an additional $248 yesterday)

The coaches worked very hard to assemble three teams for the inaugural season of the West Pasco Wolf Pack! We took several factors into consideration when putting the teams together including age, positions played, and cohesiveness with other players.

Our goal is to put the best teams possible on the floor at each and every tournament. We have an obligation to you and your child to create teams that will advance deep into tournaments (and hopefully win) so the girls will get the exposure and experience necessary to play at the next level.
